abstract:
A new comparison theorem of the Hille-Wintner type is established for a pair of
half-linear differential equations of the second order. It is formulated in
terms of solutions continuable to infinity of the generalized Riccati equation
associated with a known nonoscillatory second-order half-linear equation.
