Approximating Solution of Distributed Delay Differential Equation Using Gamma Series of Delay Density Function

abstract:
The linear chain trick can be used to solve differential equations with distributed delays of gamma type. In this paper we show that other densities of delay can be expressed as a sum of gamma densities, which can then be used to find approximate solution of differential equation with distributed delay.
