The objectives of ISPM are to contribute to the capacity building in pure and applied physics and
mathematics through organizing advanced scientific-training activities in selected frontier areas of
physics and mathematics and designed for young researchers, graduates and post-graduate students
from Central- Eastern European countries, including those belonging to South Caucasus Region.
The ISPM activities are supported by UNESCO-ROSTE, ICTP (Abdus Salam International Center
for Theoretical Physics), JINR (Joint Institute of Nuclear Research), CERN (European
Organization for Nuclear Research) as well as by other international and national scientific
institutions.
